Letting Go: Autumn Yin Yoga & Sound Bath

  • Sacred Yoga Caringbah 6 Park Lane Caringbah, NSW, 2229 Australia (map)

Autumn is a time to nourish and ground, but it’s also a time to let go.

Just like the leaves begin falling and shedding from the trees, so too are we asked to shed what is keeping us from living in harmony. The leaves that fall from the tree are returned to the earth. The tree is ready to begin the cycle again. We also carry the abundance of summer back down to the ground to decompose and nourish the soil as we turn inward to let go and begin to conserve our energy.

We will be exploring the element of metal and the lungs and large intestine meridians as we explore breathing / taking in and letting go to find balance and grounding.

Benefits of this workshop:

  • Strengthen the immune system as we support the energies of autumn

  • Support our physical and emotional wellbeing

  • Feel a sense of grounding and support as we transition to the new season

  • Bring our mind, body and spirit back to a state of harmony and develop resilience

What is yin yoga?

Yin yoga is a quiet contemplative practice and involves staying in postures for 3-5 minutes, activating targeted meridians, like acupuncture. It cultivates strength, flexibility, stills the mind and releases stuck emotions / energy.

What is a sound bath?

A sound bath in your lengthy savasana involves resting and breathing to various sound waves created by different instruments such as crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, drums, percussion, handpan and more.

Both yin yoga and a sound bath are an excellent combination allowing you to feel a deep sense of peace and renewal.

Investment: $55
